Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when processing an invalid Range HTTP header. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Update trafficserver package to one of the following versions: 8.1.9+ds-1~deb11u1, 9.2.3+ds-1+deb12u1.
