Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28378)
The vulnerability allows a local user to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization. A local administrator can gain elevated privileges on the system.
2) Untrusted search path (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28740)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of an untrusted search path. A local user can execute arbitrary code with escalated privileges.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22313)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A local administrator can trigger memory corruption and gain access to sensitive information on the system.
