Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Untrusted search path (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-25075)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of an untrusted search path in the installer. A local user can execute arbitrary code with escalated privileges.
2) Insecure Inherited Permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-34997)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure inherited permissions in the installer, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
