Description
This security bulletin contains information about 10 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50196)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
2) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50187)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can create a specially file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Use of Uninitialized Variable (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50188)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to uninitialized variable within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
4) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50189)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
5) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50190)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
6) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50191)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
7) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50192)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
8) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50193)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
9) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50194)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.
10) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-50195)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the parsing of SKP files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.
