DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the QuickTimeVideo::NikonTagsDecoder() function when parsing metadata of a crafted video file. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, pass it to the affected application, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service attack.
