Description
This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-1451)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the user profile page. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-6477)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote administrator can invite other groups to gain owner access.
3) Incorrect Regular Expression (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-6736)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation when processing regular expressions in the Codeowners reference extractor. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform regular expression denial of service (ReDos) attack.
4) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-1525)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can reset their password using their verified secondary email address and sign-in using direct authentication with the reset password.
5) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-4895)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A remote user can bypass the "group ip restriction" settings to access environment details of projects.
6) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0861)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can change "Custom dashboard projects" settings contrary to permissions
7) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-3509)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can change the title of privately accessible deploy keys associated with projects in the group.
8) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0410)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization. A remote user can bypass CODEOWNERS approvals by creating a merge conflict.
