EUVDB-ID: #VU82894
Risk: Medium
CVSSv4.0: 4.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]
CVE-ID: CVE-2023-5678
CWE-ID:
CWE-399 - Resource Management Errors
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within DH_generate_key() and DH_check_pub_key() functions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
MitigationInstall updates from vendor's website.
JBoss Web Server: 6.0.0

Q & A
Can this vulnerability be exploited remotely?
Yes. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote non-authenticated attacker via the Internet.
How the attacker can exploit this vulnerability?
The attacker would have to send a specially crafted request to the affected application in order to exploit this vulnerability.
Is there known malware, which exploits this vulnerability?
No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.
EUVDB-ID: #VU83533
Risk: Medium
CVSSv4.0: 1.2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]
CVE-ID: CVE-2023-46589
CWE-ID:
CWE-444 - Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request Smuggling')
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform HTTP request smuggling attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of HTTP requests when parsing malformed trailer headers. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the server and smuggle arbitrary HTTP headers.
Successful exploitation of vulnerability may allow an attacker to poison HTTP cache and perform phishing attacks.
MitigationInstall updates from vendor's website.

CVSSv4.0: 2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green]
CVE-ID: CVE-2023-41080
CWE-ID:
CWE-601 - URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')
Exploit availability: Yes
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to redirect victims to arbitrary URL.
The vulnerability exists due to improper sanitization of user-supplied data, if the ROOT (default) web application is configured to use FORM authentication. A remote attacker can create a link that leads to a trusted website, however, when clicked, redirects the victim to arbitrary domain.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to perform a phishing attack and steal potentially sensitive information.
MitigationInstall updates from vendor's website.

CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24549
CWE-ID:
CWE-20 - Improper input validation
Exploit availability: Yes
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling HTTP/2 requests. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP/2 requests to the server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
