Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Uncontrolled Recursion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-1370)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled recursion when processing nested arrays and objects. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted JSON data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34381)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Security (BSAFE Crypto-J) component in Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.
3) LDAP injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-46337)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when processing DLAP queries. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted LDAP query to the application, bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
4) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-42920)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input within the API. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted request to the affected application, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
