Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45744)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the web interface /cgi-bin/upload_config.cgi functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and cause configuration modification.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-43491)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the web interface /cgi-bin/debug_dump.cgi functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request gain access to sensitive information.
3) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45209)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the web interface /cgi-bin/download_config.cgi functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request gain access to sensitive information.
4) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-39367)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the web interface mac2name functionality. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
5) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-40146)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the /bin/login functionality. An attacker with physical access can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
