This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) External Control of File Name or Path (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0087)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application allows an attacker to control path of the files to delete. A remote administrator can set the logging location to an arbitrary file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.


2) External Control of File Name or Path (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0100)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to delete arbitrary files.

The vulnerability exists due to application allows an attacker to control path of the files to delete in the tracing API. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted HTTP request and cause a denial of service (DoS) attack and data tampering.


3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0088)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote administrator can trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service condition and data tampering.
