Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-29966)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to several protocols that have no authentication. A remote attacker can change controller configuration or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-30267)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected product have no authentication of firmware signing and relies on an insecure checksum for integrity. A remote attacker can push malicious firmware images and execute arbitrary code on the system.
