1) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-46940)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow within the idx_to_offset() and update_msr_sum() functions in tools/power/x86/turbostat/turbostat.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
