DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient limitations placed on the amount of CONTINUATION frames that can be sent within a single HTTP/2 stream. The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application within internal image registry operator. The AZURE_CLIENT_SECRET can be exposed through an environment variable defined in the pod definition, but is limited to Azure environments. A remote user controlling an account that has high enough permissions to obtain pod information from the openshift-image-registry namespace can use this obtained client secret to perform actions as the registry operator's Azure service account.
