The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management within the XPC implementation of nsAuxiliarySvc process. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-43304)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in LZ4 compression codec. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-43305)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in LZ4 compression codec. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
