1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38811)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling environment variables. A local user can set a specially crafted environment variable and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
