Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38651)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to overwrite arbitrary files on the server.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and overwrite arbitrary files on the server.
2) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39715)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload at REST API. A remote user can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
3) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39714)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload. A remote user can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
4) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38650)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can access the NTLM hash of service account on the VSPC server.
