This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23772)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources within the Rat.SetString(0 function in math/big. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45539)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when processing the "#" character in the URI. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted URI to the application and view otherwise restricted file or potentially manipulate data.
