Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the inode_lru_list_del(), evict() and inode_lru_isolate() functions in fs/inode.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.

Mitigation

Update the affected package the Linux Kernel to the latest version.
