This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-29025)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in HttpPostRequestDecoder. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.


2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-43044)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions within the "ClassLoaderProxy#fetchJar" method in the Remoting library. A remote attacker can read arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller file system, leading to arbitrary code execution.
