Description

This security bulletin contains information about 22 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-9955)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within Web Authentication in Google Chrome. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted web page, trigger a use-after-free error and gain access to sensitive information.


2) Buffer Over-read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-43595)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted website, trick the victim into opening it, trigger a buffer over-read and gain access to sensitive information.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise the affected system.


3) Insufficient UI Warning of Dangerous Operations (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-43580)
