The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the efi_retrieve_tpm2_eventlog() function in drivers/firmware/efi/libstub/tpm.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
