Description
This security bulletin contains information about 12 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24777)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin in the Web Application functionality. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
2) Unverified Password Change (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33699)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due weak authentication. A remote user can change the administrator password and gain higher privileges without the current password.
3) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33626)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application within the web application. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
4) Reliance on IP Address for Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-23309)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to reliance on client IP addresses for authentication. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
5) Use of hard-coded credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-28875)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to presence of hard-coded password of "AriesSerenaCairryNativitaMegan". A remote unauthenticated attacker can access the affected system using the hard-coded credentials.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
6) Use of hard-coded credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-31151)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to presence of the "user" account with hard-coded password of "AriesSerenaCairryNativitaMegan". A remote attacker can access the affected system using the hard-coded credentials.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
7) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33623)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop in the Web Application functionality. A remote attacker can consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.
8) Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-28052)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
9) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33603)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in the web application. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
10) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-31152)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
11) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33700)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the FTP functionality. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
12) Cleartext transmission of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-32946)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to software uses insecure communication channel to transmit sensitive information. A remote attacker can gain access to sensitive data.
