Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8534)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can send specially crafted packets to the system, trigger memory corruption and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8535)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the application.
