Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper privilege management (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8068)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management within the NetworkService Account access. A remote user can escalate privileges on the system.

Note, an attacker must be authenticated in the same Windows Active Directory domain as the session recording server domain.


2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8069)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote user on the same intranet as the session recording server can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
