Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38643)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to missing authentication for critical function. A remote attacker can gain access to and execute certain functions.
2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38644)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38645)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
4) Incorrect permission assignment for critical resource (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38646)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the tareget system.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect permission assignment for critical resource. A local administrator can read or modify the resource.
