Description
This security bulletin contains information about 36 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-44487)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improperly control of consumption for internal resources when handling HTTP/2 requests with compressed HEADERS frames. A remote attacker can send a sequence of compressed HEADERS frames followed by RST_STREAM frames and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack, a.k.a. "Rapid Reset".
Note, the vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild.
2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-39325)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive consumption of internal resources when handling HTTP/2 requests. A remote attacker can bypass the http2.Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting by creating new connections while the current connections are still being processed, trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-6508)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and compromise the victim's account.
4) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-26125)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to poison application's cache.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when processing X-Forwarded-Prefix header. A remote attacker can pass send specially crafted request to the application and perform cache poisoning.

The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the spi_unregister_controller(), __spi_transfer_message_noqueue() and __spi_sync() functions in drivers/spi/spi.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
10) Spoofing attack (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52881)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an error within the tcp_ack() function in net/ipv4/tcp_input.c, which can result in system accepting ACK responses for bytes that were never sent. A remote attacker can perform spoofing attack.
11) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26640)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the skb_advance_to_frag() function in net/ipv4/tcp.c. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the system and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
12) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26656)
The vulnerability allows a local user to crash the kernel.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_hmm.c. A local user can send a single amdgpu_gem_userptr_ioctl
to the AMDGPU DRM driver on any ASICs with an invalid address and size and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Successful exploitation of vulnerability may allow an attacker to poison HTTP cache and perform phishing attacks.
