1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21598)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in routing protocol daemon (rpd). A remote attacker can send malformed BGP packets to the affected device, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
