1) Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21602)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling in the routing protocol daemon (rpd). A remote attacker on the local network can send a specific BGP update packet and crash the rpd daemon.
