DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts within the MaxLoginRetry parameter in /etc/xrdp/sesman.ini. A remote attacker can make an infinite number of login attempts.
MitigationUpdate the affected package xrdp to the latest version.
