Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-53990)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of cookies stored in the self-managed CookieStore, also know as cookie jar. The application silently replaces values of previously set cookies with new ones used by different requests. A remote attacker can gain access to information stored in cookies.
2) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12798)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in JaninoEventEvaluator extension when handling environment variables. A local user can inject specially crafted data into environment variables and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
3) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-52046)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in ObjectSerializationDecoder. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
