1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-4156)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the flac_read_loop() function in flac.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-50612)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the vorbis_analysis_wrote() function in ogg_vorbis.c. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file and crash the application.
