Description

This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-28235)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the system.

The vulnerability exists due to missing authorization to the "/debug" feature. A remote non-authenticated attacker can access the "/debug/requests" endpoint and gain unauthorized access to the application.

2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3064)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when parsing large YAML documents. A remote attacker can consume excessive amounts of CPU or memory and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34038)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the PageWriter.write() method in pagewriter.go. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted input to the application, trigger an out-of-bounds write and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

4) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41723)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources in the HPACK decoder. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP/2 stream to the application, cause resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

5) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-32082)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the LeaseTimeToLive API. A remote user can gain unauthorized access to key names associated to a lease when "Keys" parameter is true.
