Description
This security bulletin contains information about 9 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-25192)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions to the "install/update.php" file. A remote attacker can gain access to sensitive information.
2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23046)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the OauthIMAP plugin. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and login under any account with enabled Oauth authorization.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires that "Mail servers" authentication provider is configured to use an Oauth connection provided by the OauthIMAP plugin.
3) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23024)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disable all active plugins.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote non-authenticated attacker can bypass implemented security restrictions and disable all active plugins.
4) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21626)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the setup.php file. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system, related to LDAP directories, mail servers authentication providers and mail receivers.
5) Reflected cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21627)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in search page. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
6) Open redirect (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11955)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to redirect victims to arbitrary URL.
The vulnerability exists due to improper sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can create a link that leads to a trusted website, however, when clicked, redirects the victim to arbitrary domain.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to perform a phishing attack and steal potentially sensitive information.
7) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24799)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the inventory endpoint. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
8) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21619)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of rules configuration forms. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
9) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24801)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary PHP files on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary PHP files located on the GLPI server.
