1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-49140)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the nbd_dev_add() and nbd_genl_connect() functions in drivers/block/nbd.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
