Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-43769)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote authenticated user can inject Spring templates into properties files and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Authentication bypass using an alternate path or channel (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-43939)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication.
The vulnerability exists due to an error when handling non-canonical URLs. A remote non-authenticated attacker can bypass authentication process using a specially crafted URL and gain unauthorized access to the application.
