Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to weak authentication in ASP.NET Core and Visual Studio. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain the privileges of the compromised user.

Mitigation

Update the affected package dotnet8 to the latest version.
