Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Access of Uninitialized Pointer (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-2530)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to the lack of proper initialization of a pointer within the parsing of dae files. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-2532)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted usdc file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-2531)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted dae file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
