Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-22020)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling non-network imports in data URLs. A remote user can bypass network import restrictions and execute arbitrary code.
2) Uncontrolled Memory Allocation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37168)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due there are two separate code paths in which memory can be allocated per message in excess of the `grpc.max_receive_message_length` channel option. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
