Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to software does not display a warning for files when opening a symbolic link that points to an executable file. A remote attacker can bypass "Mark of the Web" feature and trick the victim into executing malicious files.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
