DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to an error when handling DHCPv6 replies. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted DHCPv6 reply with a fake IPv6 address and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires a user to initiate a connection to send a DHCPv6 request.
