1) Protection Mechanism Failure (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-22234)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the BCryptPasswordEncoder caused by a fix for #VU105881 (CVE-2025-22228), which broke the timing attack mitigation implemented in DaoAuthenticationProvider. A remote attacker can brute-force weak passwords.
