Description

1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-53142)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the ice_get_module_eeprom() function in drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ice/ice_ethtool.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
