Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23288)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A local user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive system-level information.
2) Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23287)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A local user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive system-level information.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23286)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A local privileged user can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
4) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23281)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error. A local user can win a race condition and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
5) Improper validation of array index (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23278)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper index validation. A local user can issue a call with crafted parameters to the driver and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack or tamper with data.
6) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23277)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the kernel mode driver. A local user can access memory outside bounds permitted under normal use cases and escalate privileges on the system.
7) Files or Directories Accessible to External Parties (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23276)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the Installer app for Windows. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
