Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-27337)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the Hints::Hints() function when processing PDF files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted PDF file to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52886)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error when reading PDF files. A remote attacker can overflow the 32bit std::atomic_int counter, trigger memory corruption and potentially compromise the affected system.
