Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the mtk_init_fq_dma() function in drivers/net/ethernet/mediatek/mtk_eth_soc.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
