Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in a CLI command. A local user can pass specially crafted data via the CLI to the affected command, trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
