Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to obtain LDAP credentials.

The vulnerability exists due to the way FortiOS manages LDAP servers. A local privileges user can modifying the LDAP server IP address in the FortiOS configuration to point to a malicious attacker-controlled server and force the system to send credentials in plain text to a remote server.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
