Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error in epan/dissectors/packet-umts_mac.c when rejecting of a certain reserved value. A remote attacker can cause UMTS MAC dissector to crash.

Mitigation
Update to version 2.2.13, 2.4.5.
