Description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in the net/rds/rdma.c __rds_rdma_map() function. A local attacker can cause the system to crash.

Mitigation
Update to version 4.14.7.
