Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can submit specially crafted JSON data and execute arbitrary Java code.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

Mitigation
Update Pivotal Spring Data REST to 2.5.12, 2.6.7, 3.0 RC3, Spring Boot to 2.0.0M4.
